Concept of Operations

Situation:

Since 22 Feb 1932, more than 1.8 million service members have received the Purple Heart. The Purple Heart is a medal awarded to those injured or killed in combat. 7 Aug is Purple Heart Day - a day to honor those recipients.

Mission:

Honor the brave Purple Heart recipients (like these Eagles) by taking on our challenging Purple Heart Workout.

Accept the Mission

Share your photos in the Team RWB Member App and on social media using #TeamRWB.

TASK

Complete the Workout

Scale if needed.

Complete 5 rounds of the following for time:

10 Push-Ups, symbolizing strength and determination.
15 Air Squats, representing resilience and the ability to rise again.
20 Sit-Ups, signifying mental and physical toughness.
5 Burpees, reflecting the need to adapt and overcome challenges.

Other Ways to Participate

Want to host your own Monthly Mission event? Here’s how to create your own member-hosted event in the app so fellow Eagles can find and attend.
STEP 1: Open the Team RWB Member App and select Events on the bottom navigation menu.
STEP 2: Click the red plus button near the bottom of the screen.
STEP 3: Enter the information for the event. Be sure to include “Purple Heart Workout” in the event title so Eagles know it’s a Monthly Mission event. Once complete, click Create Event. That’s it, you made an Event!
Can’t attend your chapter’s event? That's ok! You can participate virtually in 3 easy steps:
STEP 1: Open the Team RWB Member App and select Challenges on the bottom navigation menu.
STEP 2: Look at the Active Challenges and select the Monthly Mission event of your choice.
STEP 3: Once you’re in the Challenge, click Events and “Check in” on the correct Date so you get your Monthly Mission badge. That’s it!
